Ombuds Service

Is there a storm ahead that is rocking your boat?
As a person receiving public mental health services, you have rights.
If you feel those rights have been violated, an Ombudsperson can help
bring about quick resolution within a safe and confidential environment.
What is the role of the Ombudsperson?
The Ombudsperson is to act as an independent advocate for you.
If you receive public mental health services, you may advise the
Ombudsperson of complaints and grievances if you feel your rights to
public mental health services have been violated. It is the
Ombudspersons task to assist in resolving complaints and grievances
quickly.
Can I use this service?
If you are a resident in either Chelan or Douglas county, and receive
public mental health services, you are eligible to access this support.
Family members and other interested parties may also lodge access to this
service on your behalf.
Don't weather any storm without support!
The Ombuds Service was created for you to use and the service is
free.
