In Crisis?
Accessing Crisis Services may begin with a call to the crisis Line. A qualified person will listen to your concerns and assess the crisis to determine how to proceed to meet your needs. Your call may be referred to emergent services within 15 minutes. If a child, adolescent or adult is currently receiving mental health services, access to their Individualized Plan of Care, Risk Management Plan and Crisis Plan is available for crisis line staff. Crisis line phones are set up to receive TTY for the hearing impaired and can quickly access interpreters for limited English-speaking community members. The crisis line is available 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Community Crisis Response Services are available to assist individuals of all ages and cultures in emotional crisis. Services are provided regardless of the ability to pay. The primary goal of crisis response services is to help people move through crisis experiences in the most compassionate, least restrictive, and best possible manner. Crisis Respite serves individuals during mental health emergencies. Crisis respite offers specialized psychiatric services to adults needing professional intervention associated with mental illness and emotional disturbances. Crisis respite is available as an alternative to hospitalization in an emergency and/or crisis situation. A crisis respite facility is available to adult service recipient’s 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week, with a maximum capacity of four persons at any one time.
